fucking hell. I went on a 30minute ride today and now i know why that was so hard. I was near VO2 max! At one point in the 30minutes, I maintaied a heart rate between 183-186 for fifteen minutes (staying above 80rpm at level 10). First i did a five minute warm-up (at level 8 - whatever rpm...), then that ridiculous bit, then I HAD to scale back to level 9 and I attempted to stay above 75rpm for the remaining 10minutes (although it was as struggle as my heart rate was still very elevated (between 173-176 - that's supposedly anaerobic, which means hello sore muscles in another two days b/c of my particular DOMS)).

After my five minute cool down I was supposed to do my ab work, but I was totally wasted, I tried walking up the stairs to the room where I do the ab training, I made it half way up and turned back. lol. I went straight to the sauna to do my all-important stretching, and by the time I was leaving the gym I was starting to fill dizzy and sick to my stomach. It's been a while since I've done a hard ride on the bike. I went straight for the Aquarius, and was so thirsty and intent on getting sugar and electorlytes in my system I also bough a Nestea - I drained them both with in 90seconds

Lastly, I walked the 4.7km back to my house. The fluids/electrolytes must've been all I needed tho, b/c I felt 100% better shortly after drinking them.
